Jayne is originally from Conisbrough and now lives in Mexborough.
She started having organ lessons at the age of 17 and by the time she was 21 had achieved a Fellowship with the Victoria College of Music (London),
Jayne started teaching organ, keyboard and theory of music 24 years ago.
Initially this was teaching a few pupils in her spare time whilst also having a full time job. As she received more and more enquiries for lessons, she decided to take a gamble and give up her job and make teaching music her full time career.
The gamble certainly paid off. She now teaches approximately 40 pupils, both children and adults and has a successful career.
Some just wish to play for pleasure, but the majority sit exams with the Victoria College of Music and all have achieved outstanding results.
Jayne used to perform in public appearances on a regular basis,until the teaching became too demanding and there were'nt enough days in the week!
